On August 14, 1765, a group of men calling themselves the Sons of Liberty gathered under a large elm tree in Boston to protest blatant injustices of the day. From that day forward, the tree became known as the "Liberty Tree". In the years that followed, almost every American town had its own Liberty Tree - a living symbol of support for individual liberty and resistance to tyranny.
In times like these we must rally around this powerful message and promote the anthem of change in the Republican Party. It’s time for us to restore our party and our country to the principles of individual responsibility, civil liberties and fiscal conservatism.
This site will help the Liberty Delegates from Southeast Texas who have been elected to the Republican National Convention. They will spread the message of freedom and liberty throughout the political party that needs it most.
Our goal is to have 200 friends of liberty to donate at least $20 on August 14, 2008. Will you make this pledge?
